Rules
Rules for the tournament will follow the rules used by the South Scarborough Softball League.
Standard League Rules can be found HERE .
Tournament Rules
Players and teams from SSSL ONLY.
Composite teams can be made from official SSSL players from other teams.
Players need to play 5 SSSL games to qualify for the tournament.
Rosters to be handed in before first game
Players must play Saturday to be eligible for Sunday.
No borrowing players without defaulting the game.
All games will be 1 hr & 15 mins. long with no new inning starting after 1 hr.
10 run lead at end of 5th inning will end game.
Finals will have no time limit.
Mercy rule will be in effect. (7 runs per inning, 10 last inning)
Teams must field a min. of 3 female players (2 female "ghost rule" in effect)
Home team will be determined with a coin flip.
Bases and balls will be provided
Points
Tie breaker will be as follows:
a) total points…2 pts. for a win
b) head to head
c) runs scored
